Meditation is a skill

Meditation isn't about becoming a different person, a new person, or even a better person. It’s about training in awareness and getting a healthy sense of perspective. You’re not trying to turn off your thoughts or feelings. You're learning to observe them without judgment. And eventually, you may start to better understand them as well. It’s just about being aware of yourself, your thoughts, your actions, your pain, your happiness etc.

The process of being aware of self, helps in concentrating on the eradication of don’ts and implementation of do’s that we define for yourself. This process also helps us in a natural healing mechanism. Many ailments begin with an imbalanced or stressed mind and develop in susceptible parts of the body. By working with the mind and learning to better manage the triggers that disturb it, we booster the body’s natural defenses.

Why should Children learn to meditate?

It has been seen that Children who meditate daily have a focused approach, stable mind and it also helps them to reduce stress. These elements like focusing, having a clear mind helps child, in every walk of life. Meditation is also beneficial to remove the depressive state of mind and have better sleep. Here we have tried to make meditation simple, through the guided ways of meditation which children can easily follow and learn and gradually they can make their own meditation guidelines for themselves. These children in future become a whole brain individual who can not only help themselves but also help others to come up in life.
